Hydrotherapy Procedure

The therapy involves the introduction of 100% purified warm water into the colon which flows slowly into the colon under low pressure via a small tube and disposable speculum. The water is then rinsed out gently flushing out the waste matter and residue. This is done repeatedly until the colon is clean. The equipment used in the procedure is a modern state of the art machine with a completely closed system with the waste being discreetly flushed out directly into the waste system. There is no contact with body fluids and there is absolutely no odour.

The treatment is not painful at all and is generally a comfortable even soothing experience for most people. The only sensation felt is a slight buildup of pressure as the colon fills up with the warm water and then the release as it is flushed out. All that is needed is for you to lie back and relax.

The first procedure will take about 90 minutes with follow-up treatments about an hour. The response to the first treatment will determine the most appropriate number of sessions suitable for your unique requirements. However, in order to derive the full benefit the internationally recognised recommendation is for a minimum of two treatments.
